I'm kinda done with him. Plus where does he fit? I'm not sure he can play win, he's afraid of the corners. - Homer
Not all wingers are grinders in the corners, he could be a great set up man on the wing, I'd love to see them give him a chance with top end talent. |

Have you watched the last 15 or so games. They are complete opposites. Larsson has 13 points in his last 16 games. He is a heady player who is consistent. Grigs is terribly inconsistent and timid. I'll take Larsson 100 out of 100 times over Grigs. - Homer
umm, looks like someone hasn't watched the last couple of games. Since the Nashville game Grigs >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Larsson. The ONLY difference is Larsson play with Ennis and gets top PP time. It's almost a 100% guarantee that if you switch their roles, Grigs would have more pts. |

Agreed but I think Grigo is turning into a NHL player. My guess is he puts up more points than Larsson but Larsson is that more consistent 3rd liner. - Stripes77
Well they have both played exactly 67 NHL games and Larsson has him 20-14. I know he has more talent than Larsson and I hope he figures out how to use it at an NHL level.

The reason he plays with Ennis is because he deserves it. I respect your opinion but completely disagree with it. |

Might be too late for him but will have to wait till training camp (if he is still here) to see what the team will look like . The plus is after 5 games of the reg season, we can see different players filling in and see what fits. |

I could see Samson start in Rochester next year, Larssons center the 3rd line and Girgensons the second. That could also put a lot of weight on the "dream pick" at first line center though.
Any way, grigorenko on the second or 3rd line. |

He started playing well before Grigs did, but over the last five games They've both looked good. |

I think Grigo will be a solid 55-65 point player in the NHL |

agreed...Grigs needs to focus on shooting...having someone like Reinhart to get him the puck might be just what the doctor ordered |

And again, any one who still thinks Grigs needs to "Figure it out" clearly hasn't watched a game in a long time (not that I blame you Homer). The one and only difference right now is points. I'm pretty sure 80%+ of Larssons points have been scored since playing with Ennis. As for Grigs, well, I wish he had the chance to play with Ennis and get top PP minutes
Put Grigs with any one of Ennis, Kane, Reinhart, or McEichel and he will be better/put up more points than Larsson would. Put him with two of those four and |

For his career maybe. I dont see what he's shown to garner all this excrement. Look, I hope I'm wrong, I have nothing against the kid but H'e not a winger and he isnt a top 3 center in this organization, thus nowhere for him to play. |

Isnt he up for contract this year? No way he would take a 2-way and we would lose him to waivers if we tried to send him down. If thats the case, we have to trade him this summer or sign him knowing he has to fit in on the sabres roster somehere.

The little things over the last 5-7 games. The protecting the puck with his body, actually using his 6'3 frame and throwing body checks, going to the net with some p!ss and vinegar. I don't think he is a center going forward with McEichel and Reinhart but he did play the wing in Rochester for a bit.
It's not excitement its more watching him turn the corner and figuring it all out. His skating still sucks but its improving. I just think we are being quick to write him off. |

What part of having a highly skilled, highly offensive player who was supposed to go top 3 but was passed for bull sh!t motivation rumors, playing on the wing of another highly skilled 2nd overall pick, doesn't fit the plans? |
