I don't trust that Shanahan can be a GM. He has SFA for experience. The guy is just a figure head. He will only make things worse if he doesn't hire the proper help. Babcock would go a long way in that coaching department but he needs Front office experience form of GM, AGM, Scouting personnel, player personnel etc. He needs to clean house. Let the new GM work. If he tries to do it all and he doesn't get help look out the $hitshow only gets worse.

McGuire would be a horrible choice, but it is the Leafs so who knows. I don't think it will matter as long as you have Dion and Grimmace driving the boat.
