Lol, the summer trade market, BO-period, and July 1 would be much more interesting for it.

As I've said before, Berube is, IMO, a perfectly fine, average NHL coach.

If the Flyers don't upgrade the roster, and/or get more from the players already on the roster, expect to continue to need patience even with a new coach.

Simmonds

I think this is questionable. I don't have as much a problem with the system he's installed but how he used his players.

There are a lot of teams I don't want to see do much.

*Being from the Windsor/Detroit area, there is a certain mix of Wings, Leafs and Habs fans. What's a little strange is, with all Detroit's success, they are the league arrogant of fans. I couldn't take the Habs winning the Cup.

*Like you, I want the Tampa pick to reach 15th overall if possible.

*I hate the Pens and Rangers. Just no way around it.

*I don't mind the Wings, Islanders and Capitals coming out of the east. I think the Capitals would be the most exciting.

Maybe you could have read the post that I referenced in posting this, which read "I'd be stunned if a team made a deal like that because the assets it would take to pull off that deal might set the acquiring team back more years than McDavid would put them ahead."

Which was basically me saying the cost is far too outrageous to acquire the pick.

If I was named Flyers coach tomorrow, I'm sure that giving me better players on the team would lead to me being a more (relatively) successful coach. But I'm sure that's only true of me and Craig Berube.
