Tough following Miller though, what with him being elite and all. |

How do you expect any goalie to be "really great" in regards to wins/losses if that wasn't the plan to begin with? Neuverth and Lindback both having .918+ SV% for this year's Sabres alone is a miracle. |

Nolan & Murray had been taking passive aggressive jabs at each other ever since the trade deadline...
We all knew this was coming
New Sabres coach?
Richardson, McClellan, Babcock & Bylsma all have to be names being considered - jdfitz77
Tippet or maybe an AHL guy like Blashill. Really not a big bylsma fan |

So much for the Jagr idea, resigned with Panthers. - Homer
I'm ok with that, although I'm surprised he didn't explore other opportunities
You'd think a better team would be interested...
But he wants a major role & decent $$$ I guess
Apparently that's more important than winning at this point, although I do think they've got a good shot at the playoffs next year

They have been OK in regards to save percentage. Add that to the fact that this team rarely scores? I expected 4-6 goals against per night from Lindback.

You could even throw Sutter's name in with all the drama going on in LA.. |

Not what I hear from the players ive talked to. Great system, but he is too disconnected from the players and they just dont like playing for him. That's a problem and he cant figure that out. - Homer

Fair enough
I don't think tippet gets fired
Julien prob will though, but I don't really like the style of play of his teams. Too defensive. Needs a better balance. Esp with all the young offensive talent we'd have.
I think Bylsma would be a good coach for guys like Hodgson & Grigorenko. He'd let them be themselves & play "their" game. Don't know of that would be good or bad for the team overall, but he was pretty successful with the Pens. And would've been better if Fleury didn't melt down in the playoffs every year |

I wouldn't have argued with Jagr here, but we don't have enough room for a forward as it is. I feel like Murray will make a trade to clear space. That list of players you mentioned earlier brings up the fact that decisions need to be made.

Either. I certainly don't want an AHL coach anywhere near McEichel, especially if someone the caliber of Babcock is on the table. |

Definitely crazy, but I think he stays
Can't fire a guy that won 2 of the last 3 cups
That's just dumb
I'd def be interested if he came available though |

I'll back Homer to the point that Paul Hamilton (love him or hate him) has mentioned that some players in the locker room said he was entitled and expected a place on the team without earning it. Hamilton also refused to name names. But often, these reporters will make sure the players know the recording device is off and that they want to talk about stuff under the table. Take it with a grain of salt for what it is.

If we bring in a forward, i think it'll be someone like Marchand.
He can slide up & down the top3 lines. Speedy, gritty, can score. Tiny, but plays big. And the Bruins have major cap issues & need to make big changes. |

It sounded to me like Bylsma wasn't really using his players effectively and was coaching the old school way. That's what has me hesitant on bylsma. otherwise your right his track record speaks for itself. |

Blashill is probably the most sought after guy of that bunch in the AHL, could be the next cooper. And i can only assume that blashill's availability is probably linked to what babcock decides.
I'd definitely be after babcock first but i think tippet could do well here. |
