Definitely. I actually think the kid is trying. Why learn english and play in juniors just to go back to Russia? I think he can be a good player. He just needs to be handled correctly. I honestly think the kid wants to be a serious NHL player.

I'll back Homer to the point that Paul Hamilton (love him or hate him) has mentioned that some players in the locker room said he was entitled and expected a place on the team without earning it. Hamilton also refused to name names. But often, these reporters will make sure the players know the recording device is off and that they want to talk about stuff under the table. Take it with a grain of salt for what it is.

He can slide up & down the top3 lines. Speedy, gritty, can score. Tiny, but plays big. And the Bruins have major cap issues & need to make big changes.
