He's just very Vanek-like... U aren't gonna see him flying into the boards or crosscheck someone in front of our own net to clear the crease
He's a marleau/Thornton type...

Kane - Eichel - Ennis
gives you a good mix of physicality, scoring talent, and threat from three different players at once making it hard to concentrate efforts on any single of them.

All depends. He was a good winger too. He has the ability to drive possession and finish around the net. I think putting him with other skill players could maximize his ability.

Him and Kane would wear down opposing defensemen IMO

I dont underestimate him, I just see that there are way better pieces coming then he is and unless your going to say he is a better, more talented center then Eichel, Reinhart, or Girgensons, then there is nowhere else to put him.
