You shut your mouth. We won all those series on the strength of fandom like riceroni's.
In fact, if riceroni hadn't tragically burnt his tongue in an element-licking accident prior to the '07 Cup finals, Alfie would have retired with at least ONE Stanley Cup ring, guaranteed.

When is the Sens' run no longer considered a streak? 31 games is pretty close to half of the season. Teams that go on runs like this usually win President's Trophies. Price is the best goalie in the world, yes but who picks against a hot goalie come play off time?
I think the Sens will lose game 1 because its the first time they aren't playing do or die hockey in weeks but game 2 will be when this series really gets going.
Any suggestions for bars/food/poutine before the game in Montreal? Will be in town for game 2 and it'll be my first trip to the Bell and I'm really looking forward to it. |

So you're saying that Therrien's experience combined with the last change in the first 2 games is not an edge for the habs? - habfanforever
I'm saying that experience doesn't necessarily give someone an edge. Last change gives a home team an edge, but by that logic than every home coach has an edge over every visiting coach.
Therrien was the more experienced coach in 2013 when MacLean bent him over a barrel. If experience was so important, then what happened then? |

Here is a simple question. Who do you pick to start the playoffs, Hammond or Price? |

Strictly based on goaltending, Price. But Ottawa plays a really solid team game in front of Hammond, so his numbers might end up being better in the end. |

Craig Anderson decided to be a wall. Then the series turned into a boxing match. Then price got hurt. That's what I remember. |

I would love to go to an Ottawa game but it seems they have some sportsmanship issues limiting rival fans from attending. |

What about Montreal's team game in front of Price. Habs got the best GA in the league. |

You don't remember Lars Eller getting his face rearranged by Eric Gryba, and then in the presser afterwards MacLean referring to Diaz as 'player 61'?
Therrien took that more personally than if someone had been defrauding his grandmother of her life savings while pouring sugar in his gas tank. |

The series was over when that poop started. Yes he got out coached but I'm sure he learned a lot from that. |

Don't act like you're entitled to that. Ottawa has had to put up with getting invaded by Toronto and Montreal fans for years. Now there's a generation of Senators fans that were born after the team came into existence who can afford tickets now, and the organization can do whatever they want to try and give them priority.
If you want to see a game in Ottawa, I guess you'd better move. |

lol yeah great strategy and not at all childish - habfanforever
why is it childish?
it boggles my mind why people still make a big deal when this happnes......tons of teams do it now, in all sports, especially when series/games involve teams in close-ish geographical proximity.
they aren't saying "no habs fans"....they're saying, priority for tickets goes to people who actually LIVE IN OTTAWA. oh my (frank)ing god, so childish. |

What's more childish? Them giving an opportunity to their home fans, the people who buy tickets to all the games, to buy playoff tickets before they go out to the masses, or whining about it? - the_terror
