Sure but not necessarily. I hope he has a great camp and pre-season and it's an easy decision. As a fan, I'm desperate for excitement. I think he'll bring that. - 2731color
You asked what is there to lose. Only saw a couple of games, when he was called up earlier in the year. The raw skill he has was obvious, but it was also obvious to me, that he was not ready for the NHL. Missing most of the year, I don't know how much that could've changed. We'll see. |

Lol, i guess i should have clarified, but the qualifying offer is not going to be high which means it will cost a team very little if any compensation to sign him to one. Basically with the year he has had I would vernture a guess that a team would offer him one, but again i could be wrong and noone does. - did109
The QO would be for the Flyers to make. He may choose not to accept and entertain offers from other teams and continue to negotiate with the Flyers. An offer sheet would, we assume, be competitive--with a number of teams making offers--if that is something his management wishes to pursue. If it is too high, the Flyers don't match and get some picks back. If it isn't too much for the Flyers to swallow, they match and all moves on apace. |

I've always been less of a hater generally. I can hate effectively during any game or series. But it isn't bone deep. I think moving 7 times in my formative sports years makes me flexible. - bodiva88
that's all i know. bone deep. deep, deep, deep in the bone. |

Back in college I used to hate teams like the Pens and Rangers. I'm kind of indifferent now. It might be because the Flyers aren't really competitive right now.
To be honest, I just feel sympathy for the Pens. It's like being handed a huge trust fund and mismanaging it to the point where you're almost broke. |

So much hate. Where is the love? - PhillySportsGuy
i have plenty. but i dole it out judiciously. for example, i saw a clip of the entire OT from the 1974 scf game 2 where clarke scores. so much love for gene hart in that clip. one of the best things about the call, besides his screaming is hearing the rustling of the microphone because he's obviously smashing it about in his excitement. it makes it so much better. it's the little things.
danny markov kissing primeau after he ties game 6 against tampa. the hug. the pure emotion on his face. it's making me tear up right now just thinking about it.
ask my brother, wilsonecho...he's seen it first hand. the love is so much more intense than the hate. it's immeasurable. seriously. which is why, when the flyers finally win another cup i will end up in jail and the hospital in the same night. |

It's the heat and the fact he only takes off that stinky goalie mask when he sleeps. |

i haven't decided. remains to be seen. i think my chances of getting out of the hospital quicker are greater, so i say hospital first, then jail. which is fine. |

a quick in and out in the hospital, then go straight to jail for the night, do not pass go, do not collect $200 (or whatever the (frank)in monopoly saying is), then you will be released in the morning, and you will go straight to the flyers cup parade... and again.. you will not be collecting $200...
