How does the lottery work? If the flyers don't draw 1st overall, can they still receive a higher pick? I know they can only move back one spot, but is the lottery only for the top pick? I realize I should know this, but i dont

yeah i think that press conference was planned for some time....i wouldn't be surprised either way. i would be rather disappointed if we keep chief and lose out on a better long-term guy as a result

While I know some don't view these reporters as particularly viable, he wouldn't just word it that way without having an inkling that an announcement is actually being made -- and in that regard, you don't, as SSB said, conduct a public execution like that

i agree although i think hextall might be thinking chief deserves one more year.....he made the playoffs one year and missed the next......like the rubber match
