Somebody mentioned Calgary as a potential landing spot for Grossman. They have a lot of Dmen under contract. Would you do Grossman and 99 for 50? - jstross
That was me; I said that because their corps is smaller and I kinda wonder how they are gonna hold up in the playoffs
That's an interesting trade. I probably would, if I truly thought Morin was ready to go |

Interesting -- Bruins aren't resigning UFAs to be Daniel Paille and Gregory Campbell, according to NBCSportsTalk
Not that the Flyers need a ton of players like that and I think they are maybe on the decline, but I do admire Campbell's grit and Paille's defensive ability - AllInForFlyers
Campbell's gritty, but his play is in decline. he's lost a step...or two. Paille's solid, but unless they can dump RJ, not sure there's a spot |

B's are gonna try a soft reset, it appears -- wonder if they sneakily try to put Chara out there

I think a fair return for Grossman. |

I read that on one of the Boston sports blogs, so I can't take credit for the idea, but it was interesting
Dude's 38...might want to see what the market is, on the down low

If we didn't jump at signing Bellemare, I'd jump at signing Campbell. Jarrod Stoll also had a poor season and probably doesn't deserve a raise at all. I think become a strictly fourth line center is in his future. |

It is, especially if you don't think you're going to re-sign him
My hesitation is that I do fear getting a bit too small on the back end |

I did read that Stoll's expecting to get cut loose, Williams is all-but a goner
With Regehr retiring, the Kings are freeing up some cash |

I wonder if you really do pull the trigger on Lucic, knowing that he's a different kind of beast when he's on his game but knowing he might have gotten complacent

Ha! His cap hit's $6 million, too -- if he really has gotten soft, that's a brutal hit |

I bring up Jarrod Stoll next to Gregory Campbell's name because they're experienced leaders who have had success. They know what their roles are and a lot have been made about not having loud enough voices in the dressing room. Again, no disrespect to Shultz and Bellemare but I really think we jumped the gun here. We have 8 defensemen under contract and Bellemare isn't really a gritty guy. I'm sure he'll bring more to his second season in the league but I favour experience on the fourth line. |

He's literally nothing like his dad, small, skilled speed winger. |
