perron isn't THAT bad defensively. eberle makes him look good in his own end. gritty, scored 28G last year, in what most would know was a somewhat inflated year. Think if you expected more than a quality 2nd line winger, you're overrating him. Idk who thinks that way

If he's on the ice versus Sidney Crosby for 12 minutes per night, Jordan Staal's team has the puck for 7 of those minutes. That's huge.

The only guy with a better number than him in that department is Patrice Bergeron, and one could easily argue that J.Staal's impact could have been higher over the course of a full season.

Only one forward in the league with a minimum 500 minutes played has a higher Corsi For %.... Pavel Datsyuk.

i dont know, and to be honest i dont really care all i was pointing out is that with Staal in the lineup the canes really turned things around, thats it, thats all.
