The wife was watching Breakfast Television this morning and they were asking canuck trivia questions so people could win playoff tickets. Questions like:

1. Who's the first canuck captain?
2. Other than Fin, who's the second team mascot?
3. What canuck had the nickname 'steamer'?
4. What canuck coach started towel power?

Not one question was answered correctly. I'm starting to believe we live in our own little HB bubble here. How could these people not know these answers?

It was painful to watch.

I heard the problem was , they wanted him to play a puck possession game and he was a pass first guy on the Yotes. He is struggling to make the change.

I think he will get another shot in the lineup, he is clearly a good player but when you put a guy in a new system and ask him to play 10 min less a night it is pretty hard for him to adjust quickly.

I don't listen to 1040 anymore but I have no problem with dave pratt. He's exactly what sports talk radio needs. Every successful sports program has a loadmouth goof that generates talk. Just need to balance that out with co-hosts that really know their stuff.

If I was the program manager and I had to keep Pratt and Bro Jake I would put them on late night and tell them to go nuts and stir the poop as much as possible.

I agree justified but he will likely get a job soon because of his reputation.

I think when you look at his drafting and trading record, it doesn't look very good.
He was able to land 3 great players in the first draft while picking 5th overall, (Kessel, Lucic, Marchand) but after that hasn't been able to draft well.

Both Seguin and Hamilton were gifts. The Seguin trade, the boychuck trade, overpaying for 3rd and 4th liners ( Kelly, Campbell and smith). I like that they picked up connolly but for 2 2nd's is pretty steep.

I think it was justified as well. Reason being the people around him were major contributors to his success and are now moving up the ladder. Refresh the outlook of a franchise.
