Your point was "he didn't want Horvat on the team", but if you haven't noticed, Horvat is on the team, hence my confusion. I would recommend saying something intelligent before calling someone else slow.

I sense we are seeing one of the first flaws of WD. He's once again cutting back on the top player's (Sedins) ice-time, as was the case last game. That is not a recipe for success, at least not in the play-offs. We need to get the best players engaged and you can't do that if you are only getting 14-15 minutes per night. That's about how much a second line player get.

I think in some respects it may not be such a bad strategy. Each series is going to be gruelling and taxing especially for the guys playing the biggest minutes. Bottom line is get the win, but if you can keep your guys from getting fatigued and battered then you do it
