I will say this short thing. I didn't expect Canucks to make the playoffs so this to me is playing with house money.

I liked what the Sedins did this year and they are the face of the franchise this year and years past. I also do like what Burrows brings.

If Canucks go forward and win it will be a very successful year. If they lose again in 4 or 5 games, management will have to look hard at Hamhuis Edler, Higgins Bieksa and maybe even Burrows. Losing every year in the PO just can not keep happening.

It is a GMs job to find a team that wins even if you take it on the chin for 3 years with top 5 picks.

It is only game one, but I don't want excuses, I want execution, and results. That is all that matters

Love it when the guy picks up the "fake head".

Its pretty simple if you ask me. Until the sedins start scoring, were (frank)ed. There is some great d men in Calgary but without gio, no true shutdown one. Burrows was by far the best player on that line in game one.
Vrbata stunk on his line. Was hard to tell the difference between him and Higgins on a rush. Fumbling the puck and fanning.
I though our D (save weber) and lack did their part
Horvat, Hansen, Bonino, and burrows were decent up front.
But Vey in for either Mathias or Kenins. Kenins was decent until the 3rd(maybe we can blame the coach on this one) and Mathias is to scared to mess up his hair so he won't use his size. Might as well have Veys skill.
Willie should ask Mathias if he happened to notice Colborne andBennett steady attempts at driving the net. And then tell him to put out or get out
