[No when the coach doesn't play the best players its his fault.
You heard them last night. Willie straight up said he didn't want Horvat on the roster. To quote "20 yr olds don't belong in the NHL, and if he is on our roster, what does that say about our team"
Sounds like a coach I want for a rebuild - Bieksa#3[/img]
I don't get your point. Horvat's on the roster. If you want a coach that gifts roster spots to teenagers, maybe we can hire one of Edmonton's old coaches. |

I like Willie . He will be the first Canuck coach to win it all ( as a Canuck) |

To a point, but they can only work with what the gm gives them. For the most part WD has done a good job this year. - CubanBuffet
He crumpbled under the pressure wed. He was a disgrace in the 3rd.

Weber a regular 5 on 5 shift. |

A/V that numbskull would still be playing Raymond. He also cost us Grabner since he favoured Raymond as well. |

A coach who thinks a20 yr old on his roster is embarrassing? And u want him during a rebuild?

He didn't give a player as bad as weber a regular 5 on 5 shift either - Bieksa#3
Pretty sure he did, a lot. There's a salary cap, every team in the league fills out their roster with budget players. |

I noticed Mathias on the ice wed. A bigger, slower Raymond |

A/V got outcoached every year in the playoffs. I don't think he outcoached anyone ever in the playoffs. |

Willie doesn't have a replacement for Matthias, who by the way had a solid season. That fool A/V had Grabner and wouldn't play him. |

Trotz in Nashville
McClellen vs SJ
Both of these were blatantly obvious |

I think I see your point but this is a mediocre roster that was not suppose to even be here. I think WD motivated the team to succeed . Not Bob Hartley motivated , but still he did a good job. Flames do have a better roster than us. If not for the twins ( I know) this would not be close. |

I'm not saying WD is the next Bowman, and he has made mistakes, but on the whole I am not unhappy with what he did this season. I thought we were going to miss the playoffs this year. We didn't. He is a part if the reason why. |

Kesler carried the team past Nashville. A/V couldn't figure out how to deploy the Sedins to save himself.
How did he do against San Jose losing in four straight? If A/V was out coaching McClellan that wouldn't happen. |

He probably won't be here next year . I like the kid. I think if we provided him with bigger tougher line mates he would be good. |

we beat SJ .
And the one series the sedins got secondary scoring is not a credit to AV but the 15 times they didn't its AVs fault? |
