Jesus!

Vladimir Tarasenko and Jake Allen are on fire in the playoffs thus far!

Who brought those guys into the Blues organization?

As much fun as game 2 was it really was detrimental to my blood pressure. I hope we can get a quick one in game 3 to eliminate the crowd early. Now we are due for a lucky goal or two.

Thought we'd never see you in here again after your Kings were dethroned.

Random thoughts

These teams seem to be playing tight though it may just be the tight system/tight checking they both play.

DD was terrible on the second goal, Allen didn't react/read the goal against well but otherwise both goalies played very well.

The boards at the Scottrade were terrible again tonight with crazy bounces.

Michalek, Jackman and Jaybo all struggled more than just a bit in this game. Gunnarson too. I hope Jaybo gets his game together but I am losing confidence that he will. His passing reminds me of Cole and he has a lot of big contract left.

Officiating was reasonably consistent again and again not the difference maker.

Ott stepped his game up. Schwartz, Berglund, Tank, Lehtera, Steen and Stastny all had decent games again.

I'd be ok with seeing if Jokinen could bring more than Goc if hitch is going to make a forward change.

Backes made a great play saving a goal.

Good game finally. Though we did sit back with the lead and that scared me.

I would be fine seeing Jokinen in instead of Goc. He was brought in for his skill and experience(not much for playoffs though) Lots of international experience.

Jackman looked slow and i would not mind him, michalek, or gunnarsson, sitting in favor of Bortuzzo. Lindbohm would be Nice to see. Heck i think over Gunnarsson (however you spell his name). I think a harder hitting d man like Lindbohm is what Petro needs to round out his game. They played well together down the stretch.

Good Job Backes and possibly Schwartz saving goals

Fun game to watch, good job blues. Always fun to see Vlad score. Hopefully the Wild can pull through but I see the Blues winning in 7.

Question to you Blues fans: Do you feel like your team is taking exceptions at the Wild players? Because here in MN, that's all they like to talk about. How Ott is doing this and that and the Blues go after this player blah blah. In my eyes I see nothing bad at all. Both teams are playing playoff hockey and doing the same thing, its just that the Blues hit more. I can recall countless times were a Wild player crosschecked a Blues player.

I don't think they are taking exceptions. I try to look at it as a hockey game and not be biased (though i always will be a little biased) but its 2 teams playing with what the refs allow. I remember thinking how could that not be a penalty on us then why is that not a penalty on them. The refs have been inconsistent and thats what i hate. If you let them play you have to let them play. Cant pull the whistle out for nothing.

It's playoff hockey as well as an important part of the Blues game. A physical pounding and extra carricular agitation can wear a team down and lead to a critical hesitation or turnover come game six or seven.

It's tame compared to other series.

I completely agree with what you wrote. I just get sick of the MN bias here; it is like they never watched a hockey game. I personally love how the Blues play

There's bias everywhere. You wouldn't believe how the NHL and the officials have been against the Blues and have kept them from winning championships for decades now........

Some of it's pretty darn humorous.

Is that why you post in the opponents thread instead of your own teams? Not sure where in MN you're from but not to many hockey fans that I know of here that don't know the game.

And like bcallaway said, there's bias in every home town, little naive to think otherwise, but feel free to continue bashing the fans of your so called team...

Season ticket holder since day 1. I love the game more than just 1 team...I been to the games when they were horrendous and boring, but never bashed them. Also, many fans in Mn do not know what they talk about when it comes to hockey, even some bloggers on here but that's just my opinion

So why not post in Tonys blogs more? We need more fans. For some reason HB Wild fans are few and far between.
