It's tough to say. The Kings missed the playoffs but defensively they are a solid team. I think $3.5 a year is a salary where if you're wrong on him you don't get skewered. - Pierceme69
It just seems like there's one of these goalies every year. Mid 20's, great season, tons of hype and then poof, they're gone. I suppose it's worth a gamble short term though. |

Thanks. I forget that there are 2 of you Sabres fans out there. That's awesome. Did you deposit on seasons for the potential Vegas club? - Pierceme69
No worries I'm horrible wor no worries I'm more of a lurker than a poster. And yes I did on day one |

I hope I can be out there and get seasons as well. It would be cool to have a western conference team, and be a fan from day 1. |

Honestly goalie should be our last priority. Hell Lindback was ripping it up for a month and a half. Goalies nowadays are easier to find. |

It's arrogant to not like this trade?
See IMO, it's more arrogant when you read 95% of the posters and people on the radio or twitter laugh at this trade the night before when the rumor was posted, then do a complete 180 about 24 hours later.
I also think it's arrogant to give Murray props for getting us to 30th, but at the exact same time claim he tried his hardest to make us better and it's not his fault Hodgson sucks and whatever.
At least I have stuck with my opinion this entire time - sbroads24
I've stuck with my opinion the whole time. Myers was and is overrated, Risto can and will do what he does much better, one being an outlet pass. The cupboard was bare up front on the wings and TM went and got a stud in Kane and got a mobile, tough, former 3rd pick overall in Bogo to not play like a pus$y like Myers
How much longer are we going to have to hear you cry about this trade? It's getting pathetic. Bad teams make trades to change their makeup especially when new GM's takeover from previous ones who got fired. "Myers didn't have a strong game the other night" as per the color guy of that series is it Greg Millen? Anyway, just thought I'd let you know so you would tame your boner. |

You can't acquire him without giving up anything. Jones you can. - Pierceme69
Well doesn't it cost draft picks to get a RFA depending on the offer amount.

Has anyone seen the evidence of the draft being rigged? No, I'm being 100% serious. Rewatch the draft lottery. The Sabres last number actually came up, but they rang another ball hoping no one noticed. 5-11-14-6 was the real final combination, but they popped out 6 quick and became 1.

Not a hater of the trade as it's too early to grade anything, but that's kind of contradictory, isn't it?
If the cupboard was bare for wingers in the system, they sent out 3+ and got back 1. Sure, it's a (hopefully) very good one, but it made the cupboard more bare. This team has a serious lack of RW |

There must be more to the idea because the amount required for 3.5 mil on jones would be a 1st and 3rd... |

It'll never happen (no matter which him you're refering too, there are always many) - people always want to try to get their last word in and it just nourishes the person looking for those posts |

They popped two numbers right away. They "forgot" to count the number in order. The evidence is there, just watch it. |

You sent out one was that was an RFA, one that will probably wont make the NHL and one that may or may not for a very good Wing. |

]He's been awesome! I bought a 57 Jets jersey. I believe he can win a Norris one day, especially if he can continue his high level of play. I was super excited when we got him!
This was a Jets fan about 20 minutes ago. I can't believe they are over rating him too. It's almost as if he's not actually over rated, and actually just really good.
Also, it's funny you didn't quote the post that said "I'd be fine with a Myers for Kane swap"
That wouldn't have fit your agenda.
Hey, how did that bust Crosby do last night buddy? |

You're counting Drew Stafford, who was leaving as a UFA at the end of this year, and Armia and Lemieux who were years away if they made the Sabres at all as being in the cupboard? Perhaps I should have used a different term but the current roster was bare, they have been one of the lowest scoring teams in NHL history for two years. He needed and still needs to get talented wingers who would be on the Sabres as part of the rebuild to play with these centers. |

Ugh I was really hoping after yesterday the Mcdavid Eichel talk would be over. I'm more than happy with Eichel, he could end up being better. I hate how murrary cried like a sore loser after not winning. I really hope they don't set this rebuild back more by trying to trade for Mcdavid. |

All machines send multiple balls out from time to time they took the first ball. The rules said they would draw 1 ball every 10 seconds which they did. |
