He should just come out and say that the plan was to finish last to guarantee one of the two.
I big "F" you to people against the tank and to say more directly that he is happy with Eichel. - rmiethaner

Wallow in reported crap? I should dismiss professionally reported news because your opinion is more important?
If you had read the whole post you would have seen that Buffalo was on the list, however they do have the benefit of being an American city.
How am I to have "my" management team overcome the thoughts of players? - Dangles13
Read the post and the article, thank you, and addressed it in my own post.
I'll stop because you're not grasping what I'm writing apparently |

You remind me of the people claiming Ovechkin was slowing down 2 years ago.
Do you think the constant injuries to Pitt had anything to do with them slowing down the 2nd half of the season? Dupuis, Bennett, Hornqvist,Kunitz, and others? - sbroads24
I don't know if he's slowing down, be that what it may, I don't believe Crosby is on the level of Gretzky, Lemieux, or Orr even if at his height. I do know that he didn't have a great year, maybe he will have great playoffs after having a great last game |

Media has their narrative and agenda and last night it was TM's disappointment in having to settle for Eichel. Many outlets left out the line where he said he's not disappointed in the player but the process. Didn't fit the agenda for the evening. - GilPerreault11
Oh, I know, hence the "one-line" mention. Der Kaiser posted the whole thing this morning and after reading it (I didn't look last night, I never really thought Murray would go and poop all over Eichel like "writers" made it seem) it's pretty disgusting that people believe the flashy blurb crap all the time |

12/10/09 someone posted on hfboards that 2 of 3 commentators on a TSN show (MacTavish and Ferraro) chose Myers. McKenzie chose Tavares. |

I'm not getting in the middle of this debate, but when Orr played, half the league skated like John Scott - or worse.
Lemieux, with all the clutching and grabbing, may have been the best of them all. |

I think the team is losing respect of him. Be it leadership or "The Crosby hype has gone stale", that could all be in his head, too. Things were real ugly after Bylsma left and things don't seem too different there. Malkin's production severely plummeted, too. |

Yes he's counting Drew Stafford, who has been more impressive than Evander Kane was this season. A guy who they very well could resign and score 20+ goals for them
I love the logic on who counts and who doesn't - sbroads24
Just so I get this right, You would sign DREW STAFFORD at end of season, instead of having EVANDER KANE?
To suggest that STAFFORD was worth anything more than a 2nd - 3rd pick for his rental weeks is ignorant.
It shows how much you know about the game when you suggest KANE's game and STAFFORD's can be compared by using points/goals, etc.....All players bring a DIFFERENT Dynamic based upon their Skill Set, MESSIER was worth more than Gretzky because of the "Multiple Facets" of his game.
What is truly sad is that "most" Sabres Fans have been dreaming of a day when we would have a GM who would go after players with a specific skill set that will be a part of the MACRO plan. A GM who would have the guts to make a big trade to get a 23 year old stud winger like EVANDER KANE.........and then we whiiine on for months, I guess some of you would just be happier with the old Regime losing Stars with poor foresight, holding onto the wrong players, no vision..... |

Half the league inflated stats because goalies, or do you add goalies and say "more than half of the league" |

Well, we all have our opinions but most people debate whether Gretzky or Orr were the greatest of all time. Mario was above Crosby in my opinion. It will be interesting to see how good McDavid will be and fall in this group. |
