Ok, so name a Winger with the skill set and age of EVANDER KANE that you would have approved of?

Every team in the league wanted in on Evander Kane for a reason! The dude is a beast on the ice. The only issues he ever had was BS off ice kid poop that shouldn't even be mentioned in my line of thinking. Every player or Coach of Evander Kane has been on Record as stating KANE plays EVERY game with a FIRE and a Toughness, when he hits the ice, its GAME ON!

And you compare that to F**&ing Drew Stafford........

Taylor Hall. He's a PPG winger.

Plays a similar style, even gets hurt, but he produces....a lot more than Kane.

He's worth that package.

I know. And I am happy that he is on Buffalo now. But when you are picked fourth overall, I honestly think a little bit more is expected.

I'm in no way saying that I didn't like the trade, that I want Stafford back, that he's a better player, etc.

Just pointing out Stafford hasn't had the best teams to play on either.

I do know the stat lines, but I was trying to explain that their are very important aspects to individual players that are not represented in the box score, KANE and BOGOSIAN bring many of those intangibles.

I own MYERS jersey, I loved watching him play. In this league you don't get a Power Forward with the Talent of Evander Kane without giving quality back.

Just because Kane was available didn't mean we needed to trade whatever WPG wanted. IMO we could have made the deal for less in the offseason. Chevy did it because we overpaid

There were definitely rumors that he was being shopped. Not sure how you missed them. Either way, he is definitely a top tier player. I'm sure it would have taken a bit more than Myers and our late 1st rounder, but we have the assets that could have gotten it done.

Edmonton needs Defensive help, so it's not out of the realm of possibility.

I gotta get it out there...
Stafford was a lazy suck-ass talented player...he plays when he wants, when surrounded with talent he plays well. There was no talent here last 2 or 3 years so I get his drop in production.
I justed hated his lazy play. In my demented mind, he sucks and I am estatic that he is gone. Good for him he is playing well out in the Peg.mmstay there, far, far away.

I forgot that you are of the omnipotent one who knows better, and we could've gotten him for less in the offseason........(or we could've not gotten him)

I for one, I'm truly glad we upgraded our Top Line with an amazing Talent. When you see KANE play on a nighty basis you will feel ill comparing the stat lines of STIFFORD and KANE ( they are the antithesis of each other)
