I don't think Reinhart is ready to be a 2C yet. At most you transition him there mid season if he's excelling on the 3rd line.

One of Reinhart or Eichel will have to be in either the 1C/2C spot, and neither will be "ready" for it at season's beginning. It's part of the reason I wish they would have let Reinhart stay up here and take his lumps last year, even if he wasn't "ready" in the true sense of the word.

(not you OP, I'm talking IRL)

Im with ya. I think reinhart needs to be with or skill guys, foligno and gionta arent goos enough. Hes played some wing at worlds I believe? Start him on the wing with girgs and moulson, if he plays well he let swap with girgs after the all star break.

Not to mention their fans are so excited for getting McDavid it will take a lot to assuage that. Maybe if McDavid says behind the scenes that he wants to be traded and pulls a Lindros it would make things easier.

I would do the #2, the Isles (or Blues) 1st, one of any D not named Risto, and one of any F not named Girgensons. I'd also be willing to throw in the 31st pick and/or next year's 1st.
