Murray only overpaid for Kane on paper. Myers was a player you threw under the bus time and time again yet since Murray dealt him he is the greatest thing?

Since acquiring Bogosian and watching him I feel that Myers is a better defensemen and all around talent than Bogosian.
Sure it's tough for me to say about Myers, but I will always admit the truth or when I was wrong.
Don't get me wrong , I am not saying either of them are great, but I see that Myers is better than Bogosian and I would rather have Myers back.
Murray doesn't have to "earn my respect" but he does have to prove to this 40+ year fan that he is a valid NHL General Manager and that he is capable of making astute sage decisions and not erratic compulsive wild decisions for my favorite sports franchise.

So you're judging the trade after 3 months when arguably the best player in that deal has yet to play for the Sabres??

Myers and a bunch of unprovens vs Kane and Bogosian

It's too early to say he overpaid if Kane becomes an issue here and doesn't produce then you can complain and rightfully so but if Kane scores 30 a year and Bogosian is a solid 2/3 D then not matter what Myers does it's a win for the Sabres. The real determining factors are Lemieux and the 1st rounder.

Wouldn't you agree there is no way to evaluate what you yourself call "the Kane trade" until Kane plays? And if you can't evaluate that trade, and there are no others you can point to, don't we have to agree there is no proof that he has overpaid for ANYBODY?
