I choose not to make predictions come playoff time. Im too superstitious.

Its a regular season thing

I called last game, so thought I'd do it again.

Maybe being in Manitoba gives you some sort of superstition firewall.

If I did it here and we lost. I'd lock myself away for days

I predict everything will be calm again until late in the game should the Canucks be too far ahead. I envision that Hartley thinks that fine is an indulgence that he's already paid and he gets to double down on it.
- micah555

If Calgary runs away with it, I am wondering if any Canucks do anything stupid and get more than fines?

I still don't understand the difference between playoffs and regular season with the application of the rule book and consequences. Some infractions are called, some are considered more severe, and many are out right ignored. I'd rather see a call for a cheap slash than the puck going over the glass resulting in a delay of game. Why call a charge and not a slash?

and if there is or isn't an injury. Guys play through injury, some guys finish the game but don't play the next....

I don't think Linden or Wille are the pound of flesh types. I would think they will just keep finishing their checks and playing hockey.

Can't see anyone, other than Dorsett, trying to settle scores or really wanting to mix it up. But you never know once the game gets headed in that direction.

If you guys haven't watched this, take a look. Bettmans reaction to Edmonton winning the draft lottery is gold. Dude looks shook.

Leaving Las Vegas was tolerable. Faceoff was ridiculous.

He's a terrible actor.

I think I only like LLV was because of the soundtrack.

If I get it wrong and they lose or win with a different score, I just think my luck has run out.

There are those pictures of the balls coming out in the wrong order and stuff like that and not being called properly. 2 coming out at once and all this stuff.

I don't think he's done anything decent since pre-2000 (Leaving Las Vegas was very good, as was Birdy, Adaptation, Red Rock West, Wild @ Heart )

Gotta love Mark Stone of Ottawa. The guy went down in such melodramatic/theatre-esque fashion in the last game, as if he'd been shot by several uzis, but look a here, he's magically healed and back in the line up playing huge minutes and threading passes (yes, that's what all players do when their wrist is apparently broken)

He missed a bunch of time in the game he was slashed, came back, left again and came back. Some might call him a warrior. Who knows if they are icing or freezing his wrist. Or maybe it just really hurt at the time. The wrist isn't the most resistant piece of the human anatomy.

That's classic - a real gem of a flick that most people have probably never heard of (I heard that he actually ate that cockroach!)
