I don't think he's done anything decent since pre-2000 (Leaving Las Vegas was very good, as was Birdy, Adaptation, Red Rock West, Wild @ Heart ) - Zogg
I liked National Treasure
Probably the only movie Sean Bean has ever done where he doesn't die |

He missed a bunch of time in the game he was slashed, came back, left again and came back. Some might call him a warrior. Who knows if they are icing or freezing his wrist. Or maybe it just really hurt at the time. The wrist isn't the most resistant piece of the human anatomy. - micah555

I guess it's hard not to be cynical, when you see him flying around the ice the last two games. Apparently, a micro-fracture is very difficult to assess, so I think he was probably hurt but nowhere near the extent that the media/Sens have indicated (not to mention his melodramatic rolling around on the ice after the slash as if he had been shot by a sniper). All I can say is he's obviously a fast healer (and just for full disclaimer purposes, I don't like the Habs) |

Gotta love Mark Stone of Ottawa. The guy went down in such melodramatic/theatre-esque fashion in the last game, as if he'd been shot by several uzis, but look a here, he's magically healed and back in the line up playing huge minutes and threading passes (yes, that's what all players do when their wrist is apparently broken) - Zogg
Broke my Scaphoid a few years back. Not a chance in HELL I'd be playing hockey.
Recovery time for me to start playing hockey again was atleast 6 months.
I dont know what bone he broke in particular, But what ever one of those tiny bones he broke in his wrist should mean he's not in the lineup.
The whole story is fishy.

Thought I heard "micro fracture"- if he got hit straight on his wrist, missed the padding, I don't doubt it would have stung. The way Subban was swinging his stick (straight up in the air and down), something had to be called. Thought there should have at least been a minor penalty assessed on whoever slashed Burrows, the other night, off the faceoff too.
I'd really prefer to see the delay of game penalties, puck over the glass, not called and these slashing offenses called.
(Z, ya heard the same thing too about the micro-fracture, cheers) |

yikes, must of been quite painful. I broke my hand playing hockey and it was almost impossible to hold the stick let alone take any shots or stick handle properly. Now you take that situation and apply it to the highest level of hockey and wonder how it's possible for him to be playing again (especially when almost every aspect of play involves your hand/wrist). Yes, the whole thing reeks of PR and trying to gain any upper hand (pun not intended) there is, via making it seem like his hand was cut off. Those types of slashing plays occur at least a dozen times every game. If they were to call all of them then there would be no one left to play the games. It's an inherent part of a rough/violent sport and it would be extremely difficult to figure out a resolution, without basicallly taking away any and all aggression. |

lol, I think any sort of trade conversation with the Oil would start with Virtanen and Horvat and then fill in the rest of the blanks with picks and probably at least one or two quality roster players. Frankly, I don't think McTavish would trade this guy for any sort of package UNLESS it was absolutely insane (and none of the managers in the league are insane, right? right? *crickets* ) |

nice, welcome to Canada and it's fantastic health care system. Hope you get back to 100% as soon as possible, must be tough to work with that kind of pain (were you not able to file some sort of Worker's Comp claim? or did your situation not allow for that?) |

Hey bud, pretty sunburnt but other than that looking forward to the game tonight. My uncle was kind enough to hook me up with playoff tickets for my birthday so I will be taking my dad to game 5 for some much needed distraction |

Its difficult having to tell my 100 pounds girls I work with to do all the heavy lifting.
Its been an on-going problem with me for a long time.
Makes me feel very pathetic. |
