Christ, Kypreos is such a huge douche bag - "crashing the net is an art form.............. and I painted a Picasso back in 1996 (when he took out Grant Fuhr for the play-offs). Way ta go, Nick, applaud yourself for hurting a player and possibly ending their career, you neanderthal meathead egotistical f*ck. You've now surpassed both Healy and PJ Stock as the biggest asshat on t.v.

Anyone who denies that he isn't a good coach is just blinded by hatred. Every coach makes decisions that annoy their fanbase, even Mike Babcock is hated by some Red Wing fans so is he also a bad coach?

AV did well with what he had to work with every year.

Unless the coach coaches the team the way you want it, you're going to hate him.

They set the team up to roll 4 lines.
- manvanfan

Then why don't we trade everybody decent and have all 3rd and 4th liners.
Rolling 4 lines doesn't mean everybody playing equally. .
Flames are rolling 4 lines yet they seem to be getting the mismatches.

I don't think anyone denied he was a good coach. Why would canuck fans hate AV? Wasn't he their most successful coach?

Not very often you can agree with someone 100% of the time.

Luca Sbisa has been on for every goal against this series but one. Can't believe how much he got paid. I wanted him back on a cheap one year deal similar what guys like Alberts/Rome got in the past.

Save game 3, I think Sbisa has been very good.

Weber has been awful. Just pathetic.

Fair point. I still think this team would be better off giving the Sedins 1st line minutes and Bo getting 2nd line minutes. The other forwards haven't looked good offensively this series.

Really hope guys like Higgins are gone next year, he's not big, fast or skilled.

The point of the canucks line up is balance. It's set up that all 4 lines can play equal minutes, it's not stacked at the top or stacked at the bottom they believe. The flames are getting mismatches because their players want it more.

I think it really highlights the short comings of our team. Our dmen rarely play physical, we acquire Sbisa and he hits and skates well. Doesn't handle the puck that well, doesn't have a great shot and limited hockey iq... gets a good contract.

Can only guess that Benning doesn't see a lot in the system and it will take a few years to develop draft picks... thank goodness it is only 3 year extension.

We don't really have any complete players... Horvat may be the closest. same issues on defence. limited skill sets.

Everyone should just closely watch Sbisa-Bieksa closely next game, keep track of how poor they are at starting breakouts and beating a forecheck and clearing the front of the net. It's not pretty. Weber has also been poor, no argument there but at least he isn't getting paid as a top 4 dman next year.

He is like Torres. His hit on Sbisa should have been a 2 minute penalty. I'm not fortune teller but I predict he gets suspended some time in the next year.

Hey I agree. The guys getting paid to be 1st liners and producing twice as many points as the rest of the team should be played considerably more

I agree, the WIN/ANA and OTT/MTL series have had huge borderline hits every game. You gotta get dirty to win in the playoffs. The Canucks haven't done it enough.

Okay, Im clearly not understanding what you want other then you want the Sedins to play 20 minutes a game and mathias, dorsett, and richardson to play 5 minutes a game? You also want the Sedins to kill penalties? I'm really confused.

I'd love him in our 4th line or if Kassian would play like him.
