a colleague of mine and his brother were at the game, in their Flames gear. Dude stood up when the Flames scored the late (meaningless) PP goal and some stupid Canuck fan punched him in the back of the head. Melee ensued, they got tossed out.

The Jets looked like the Canucks on Sunday: scared to hold on to the puck. They look good now though.

Big Wine Alert (Not for VANTEL, it cost a bit more than $9)

Hacienda Terra d'Uro 2008 from Toro Spain - 100% old vine Tempranillo (un-grafted vines) 20 months in new French Oak. It's a monster, super tannic at first, so decant it for a few hours before you drink it (it's super on day 2!). High $40's at BCL.

You should move to the Island except Nanaimo, there the knob quotient is about 1:1 (just kidding for anyone on here from Nanaimo... or am I?)

You could drink five of your bottles for one of mine, but then you would wake up with a sore ars and wonder why your girlfriend won't use the spatula to make pancakes anymore

Hate him all you want but he's a hell of a player. Ducks are handling this well, what a resilient team!

We had 9 open bottles, we didn't get to all of them until day 2. I did try it on day one, but the drinking didn't happen until tonight.

He's hard to miss. Loungo could probably still pick his ass out of a line up.

Anyone see the way Buff laid out Kesler the other night? Made him look like an 100 lb teenager sending Kesler into his own bench like that.

EDIT: Here it is...

Sestito was on a stacked team, he was 5th in scoring. Ferland was 2nd on his team behind Mark Stone. More impressive junior stars if you consider that.
