Big (frank)ing whoop, Daigle had 120 points in junior and he sucked too.....junior means poop for the most part... - chompsey
Daigle was a very rare/bizarre case. But the guy himself admitted he only played hockey because he was good at it, he didn't really like it. It's always shocking to see guys like him, Gilbert Brule, etc bust. |

What's with all the Canucks fans cheering for the Jets? It's a bit ridiculous. I hate that team. |

Good. Very good.
I'm hoping we can kick things up a notch and play our game. Nux need to bring the emotion. |

Hate him all you want but he's a hell of a player. Ducks are handling this well, what a resilient team! - Alpha_Nuck
I don't hate Kesler at all. The guy played hard for the Nux. |

The Canucks fans are just as much to blame. If all it takes for you to start throwing punches is someone saying that your team never won a cup, you have major issues.

Dion is a legit top 4 dman though, they're always in demand even if overpaid. Dion needs to go somewhere where doesn't have to be the captain, leader and best dman every night. I also think he actually gets more hate in TO, so dressed up as a 9 doesn't make sense. If he was traded to a sunshine state in the States when the Flames moved him I bet he'd be better thought of. Toronto is a tough city to play in, toughest in the league most likely.
And honestly if Sbisa is a 3/10 then I'd rate Phaneuf as a 7/10. - Alpha_Nuck
Dion is a top 4 for sure. He isn't a top pair and barely a 3. So do you pay 7 mill for the next 6 yrs to a declining guy who is at best a weak 3?;
That sure makes KB appealing

Theyre everywhere. At a marlies game last month a couple of mid 20's guys tried to elbow my 2 yr old in the face to butt in line. |

Morning boys - well our Canucks had better show up tonight or we're gonna start talking draft day options as they'll have a tough go getting back into the series. |

(frank) Winnipeg. You think you'd feel that way if we played them next round?
Someone should tell them wearing white is supporting the visiting team Ducks. |

If they win this series they aint winning the next one. Dont make a difference.
Willie D is getting out coached. I hate Bob Hartley but hes pressing the right Buttons and the right times. |

All this talk about ice times and WD being outcoached got me thinking. What if this is part of a plan.
option 1.
WD thinks this will be a 7 game series and is hoping for a 2-2 series tie with home ice advantage and the top D paring for Calgary playing almost 30 really tough minutes per night every other night. This should give the edge to our top players that are more rested. Remember WD has been through this last year and guided his team to a cup.
Option 2.
WD and Canucks mgmnt knows that they backed in the playoffs and they have no real chance of winning or making far this year. So instead of risking injuries to players that will be around for next few years they are playing guys that will not be around for the next few seasons. Far fetched and absolutely ridicules but I don't want to except that WD is that dumb to not play his top players that every stat shows is still dominant and can control the play and win games on their own but chooses to keep doing this that befuddles even the most forgiving minds. |

The league is investigating and the fans in question are getting a phone hearing though suspensions are not expected...
I lived in Van for 4 years and would go to the Flames games with my (now ex-wife)back in 2000. We always had issues but meh. Had a beer poured on me after a Flames goal. Dude got tore apart by the Nucks fans around me so its all good. Cops asked if i wanted to press charges... i didn't. Apparently he was banned for a year.

ok you tell me your theory then...and don't give me that rookie coach crap. I would have believed that in the first game where the time management would have gotten away from him due to the speed of the game and the environment. But I am sure he looked at the video and the stats and realized that the Sedins were absolutely dominant but did not play much and they ended up losing the game. |

Haha maybe he's just an idiot? I have no idea, but I do know that in his mind he is doing whatever he thinks will give his team the best chance to win. You are basically saying he's not trying his best to win each game, which is a complete farce. And if even a shred of your theory is correct (which it isn't) I would be screaming for a new coach if I were you.

I agree. He's even said that he's coached this way for years apparently. I don't like how he delegates ice time in the playoffs and doesn't try to line match at all but that's what he believes in. |
