Yeah why should he? It would piss the Canucks off more if he didn't fight. Like Kassian and the Oilers. Pick your spots |

I would actually like to see Bieksa and Ferland go at and not just some cheap shots by Bieksa. Would be a great scrap! - wicket
I think Bieksa would beat the crap out of him and anyone else on the Flames not named Bollig. |

is rag dolling when you start throwing punches on a guy who still has his gloves on, but the guy gets up and starts throwing back and more than holds his own?
then he was rag-dolling ferklund - chester97
Exactly.
Thanks.

At least Dorsett had the good sense to only drop 1 glove and not get the penalty. Still, Ferlund has been running around all series. Eventually him and Dorsett should go. - nucks_94
Ferland is doing his job and doing it well, best thing the nucks can do is not let him get under their skin. The nucks essentially gave up on winning in the last 90 seconds last night and instead were looking to send a message.
I know they were down by 2 but 1:30 left and the players seem more intent on getting their licks in then trying to tie it up?
I do also blame the refs for calling a clean hit boarding and Burrows for escalating it at that time but you need to push for the win imo. Play physical, stand up for yourselves but focus on winning. Ferland and Calgary got vancouver off their game last night, can't let that happen again. |

Guess that leaves engelland out. - classic321
say what you will about the contract, because yeah it was brutal when signed, but since gio went down, engelland has been huge for the flames. he's averaged more than 20 minutes a game so far, is even for the series, has been a physical presence, and has allowed brodie to float a bit and jump up into the play. if all we get from him is the 20+ games and playoffs with gio out, engelland has been worth the contract.
i still can't believe we made the playoffs with engelland and schlemko getting big minutes and basically only playing 5 d. |

Canucks get criticized for not standing up for themselves against the Kings and Bruins, now that they are, they are goons and cheap shot artists.
They can't win no matter how they play, there will always be critics. I enjoyed how the game ended last night, they didn't just roll over. |

Ferland has been an incredible pest thus far, and seems to have more smarts and heart than a guy like Bolland or Marchand. He's a guy that I want to hate, but respect. That said, it is 3 games, and he may or may not keep this up. But good find for Calgary. |

I enjoyed it as well, but I also think it is playing right into Calgary's hands. Moral victories are nice but they don't mean poop if you can't win the series. |
