I have always been a big Wilson fan but it is time for him to go. DW used to make 3 amazing moves followed by one terrible move, but in the last year it has been almost exclusively terrible moves. More than anything he seems to be lacking direction, so time to bring in a fresh face with new ideas. If we can keep DW in the org in a different position, all the better. |

Just saying, its 6 months till the sharks play again. Im all for hearing about prospects, but weve gotta switch it up - SJFreez19
I agree with that, i'm just tired of the Wilson debate he ain't going nowhere so why keep beating a dead horse arguing over the samethings constantly that's all i'm saying. |

If San Jose is starting a rebuild, what would it take for Buffalo to acquire Brent Burns? - chilliard77
Burns isn't available, can't have em. |

So turning over the roster for draft picks you deem terrible moves & reloaded our farm system terrible? Tim has has finally swayed you over to the other side. Looks like it's just me & IDTHEJC as the lone Wilson supporters now. |

I'm one of the guys who is on the fire Wilson Bandwagon. There are a couple people who are still fans of his. And I get it. I think he started out strong and has progressively gotten worse. Or maybe the league has gotten better while he stayed the same? Or I he just doesn't know how to put on the finishing touches of a championship team? Or maybe he hold on to long to players he likes (Niemi)? Or maybe he likes players form his old Blackhawks too much? Or overvalues certain types of players that just aren't relevant in todays game because he's still living in the 80s? Anyways, that went a different direction than I intended...
So my question to Tim is, would you be interested in doing an article where you break down all of Wilson's significant moves in his tenure as GM? Then we can finally decide once and for all in an epic comments battle - SJFreez19
An epic comment battle eh....
But what would I do for amusement if you all get yourselves banned from telling each other off? |

I can help out with an epic comment battle if you need.
I figure that if I can fly by the seat of my pants in the Oilers and 'Nucks threads without getting banned, then I should be fine here eh? Plus I'll be one of you guys soon (moving to NorCal in July)... |

There have only been two bans in here this season that I know of, so odds are you're safe. - Tim Chiasson

Random segue I got all caught up on our minors playoff series.
Jake Jackson and the Nainamo Clippers lost in the finals 4-2 in the BCHL. (This is Junior B hockey.) Jake Jackson is committed to Michigan Tech next season. So, he'll continue his college development for 2 more years at Michigan Tech. He's a very longshot prospect to ever make it to the NHL. However, everyone loves a good Rudy story, and he will become ours.
Kevin Labanc and the Barrie Colts got their asses handed to them by the North Bay Battalion. That was expected. They lost the series 4-1 after winning the first game.
Julius Bergman and the London Knights got swept by the Erie McDavids. Afterward, Bergman was called up to Worcester to help them with their push for the Calder Trophy!
The last of the mohicans, Rourke Chartier and Big Red Alex Schoenborn. They start their series against each other as the Kelowna Rockets take on the Portland Winterhawks in their conference finals starting Friday. Should be an amazing high octane series! Kelowna is the favorites due to the play of goaltender Jackson Whistle. |

Well, at least Michigan tech gave the world Jaarko Ruutu and John Scott...

To see if we can make it three bans in here this season...???
Sorry man, they're my pick to go all the way. The west is reasonably clear for them to get to the finals, and I think they'd run over almost anyone from the east. - lumlums
blasphemous. |
