Nope. One of our own and a Panthers fan. Both came in to start trouble and contribute absolutely nothing even remotely close to a hockey conversation. - Tim Chiasson
Those exist on here...........whoa mind blown. |

So turning over the roster for draft picks you deem terrible moves & reloaded our farm system terrible? Tim has has finally swayed you over to the other side. Looks like it's just me & IDTHEJC as the lone Wilson supporters now. - SJSharks39
I'll always be a DW supporter and want him to stay in the org but he made some undeniably bad moves in the last 12 months. There's been good stuff sprinkled in there too (waiving Burish, forcing Burns to stick at D) but overall his performance as GM took a definite turn for the worse. |

Do you think with a new coach Thornton can distance himself from Wilson enough to be able to concentrate.
Question. Do you think Thornton gets the C back with the new coach as most I see hear believe he still leads the team?
Would Joe get insulted if he doesn't get it do you think? |

I'm sure he's able to concentrate just fine, even if the had kept McLellan.
Probably won't get the C back... it's going to Pavelski.
Doubtful, but I suppose it's possible. He's got a reputation of being a pretty laid-back & easy going guy from media & teammates... or at least he had this reputation. So I doubt he'll get his snot in a knot about not getting the "C" back. Couture on the other hand, might be a little upset if he don't get a letter from the new coach. |

Sharks fans, who you guys hoping the Sharks try to grab in free agency?
I'd be interested in trying to pick up Frolik & Sekera, maybe even Oduya to bring some veteran leadership to our backend (obviously on a short-term contract 2-3 years). |

I agree that we need a goalie.
But who's going to be a FA? I think we'll need to trade for a goalie. |

What bad moves are you talking about?
I mean inthe last 12 months only the Mcginn trade was a failure, that didn't work out of course. I understood why he made the move for Mcginn though.
Then resigning Demers, but he quickly rectified that problem & got us Dillon.
Don't lose the faith Sharks12, i'm glad your still a Wilson supporter....we are few & far between on here.

Yeah we definitely need a 2 way puck moving defenseman to pair with Braun, i love Sekera or Erhoff. I'm not an Oduya guy just b/c we already got that type of blueliner in Vlasic, Braun, Dillon, & Mirco.
But i doubt you can sign any of those blueliners to a short term deal like you suggested, it's going to more inthe 4-5 year range. |

Also Paul Martin would be intriguing but his injurys these last couple years kinda would make me gun shy. |

I wasn't suggesting we sign Sekera & Frolik for only 2-3 years, they'll want more. I was saying I'd only want Oduya if we could sign him for 2-3 years since he's already 33 years old.
I wouldn't mind Ehrhoff either, but I doubt he ever comes back to Shark land. |

Jumbo won't get the C he's too much of a red ass to be C, not that it's a bad thing to be a red ass....... i dig it. But he's definitely not this quiet laid back guy like so many inthe national media think.
I'm sure he won't like not being named C but he'll get over it & play hard like he always does. Jumbo doesn't let little petty stuff like that affect him. |

Gotcha my bad bro misread, still haven't had my caffeine yet.
i'm still not a Oduya guy we've already got plenty of that type of defensemen on our team i don't think we need another one. |

Yeah maybe if you get him on a 1yr deal, but that's not happening.
You know another good forward to look at also is Beleskey. |
