five organic. it's not a drink. it's hydration intervention.

i'm not gonna lie. i peruse. i peruse the drink aisles in search of beverages just for you guys. i search every nook and cranny of these stores. i found this searching where the bai drinks had been for the past 2 weeks. but instead this week there was five. i saw honeycrisp apple was a flavor and the decision was final to try a few of these.

anyway, onto the part you've been dying for: the expert user review.

it's definitely apple. it doesn't necessarily taste like honeycrisp apples, but it tastes like apples and it smells like apples. the taste disappears pretty quickly (and suddenly, there's no fade) but it's a good taste because you keep sipping again to get it.

as far as the organicy and goodness stuff it's only got 5 calories (hence the name), it uses stevia instead of sugar, it has 0 grams of fat, and it uses no sugar, preservatives, artificial dyes, or artificial flavors. it is certified usda organic, it's GMO free, it's BPA free, it's gluten free, and it's kosher. oh and it's got antioxidants which help your eyesight or give you the ability to levitate up to 20 feet or something.

so this is pretty good. try it if you see it. i have another flavor that i will review later, probably even tonight. how (frank)ing exciting is that?!

okay. as with the apple one the smell is right on. it tastes like something hydrating and good for you right up front, but with a delicious aftertaste of welch's grape juice. and that aftertaste lingers much longer than with most of these diet/health-freak drinks, which is nice since it's finally an appealing aftertaste rather than sulfuric acid or xanthan gum.

it is a very refreshing cold beverage.

this one blows the honeycrisp apple one away but both are really good. pick up a five if you see one. i don't think you'll be disappointed.

there is also a lemon one that didn't seem appeeling to me for some reason but maybe now i'll try it..

the big picture

let's just get right down to business with this one. this might be the best tasting of the G2/Powerade Zero stuff. like, the winner. there. i said it. and i meant it.

you almost don't believe that it's the sugar free version of mixed berry. a powerful burst of flavor compared to most of the drinks fighting in this weight class.

it's maybe blueberry and blue raspberry. i don't taste strawberry at all but maybe there's some in there. point is, i can't even tell what the berries are and it doesn't matter. whatever they did here they did it right. it's almost a cotton candy type of sweetness but in a cool, refreshing, thirst-quenching kind of way. somehow.

as of now i believe this is the leader in the clubhouse in regards to the sugar free segment of the electrolyte game.
