Red Bull Grapefruit

Very disappointed, I've typically liked all the Red Bull flavors and was excited for this one given my love of grapefruit. But this really lacked some flavor. I mean it had grapefruit flavor, but I want to be punched in the mouth with grapefruit flavor. This failed to deliver

in an attempt to not put back on all the weight i lost i am going to revisit the sugar free monster jawns, many of which i do not think i ever reviewed because they were before drinkslave856.com's time.

starting off we have monster ultra black. the wesley snipes of energy drinks (minus the tax evasion).



all i really remembered about this is that ultra black really seems to only describe the can because the drink is red. they could have just made it cola color. but i think it's some kind of fruit punch or berry flavor or something so i guess red works.

anyway, it's very sweet for a sugar free drink but i'm not really sure what it is. it actually strikes me as cherry. i like this a lot and don't know why i stopped buying it.

this is probably in the top three of these things with ultra violet and whatever they call the orange one, which i remember being good.

i say go with the lemonade we talked about. or the ultra white that you had in your hand if you like chilly citrus kind of things.

i wish 33 of the 5 rows weren't just regular green and blue monsters.

the original lemon-lime will always be good to fall back on. when you find yourself in a store that has blue cherry (gross), a variety of those flavors that look like semen, and this - you know you're safe picking this.

drinking it reminds me of the old days when there were three flavors in stores and the most exciting thing that happened was when those little foil packaged packs of gatorade gum came out.

it's like an old friend.

i do wish the taste lasted a bit longer but for that first split second when the lemon-lime hits your tongue it is a pretty damn good taste. kind of makes me want that gum.
