Honestly once you get the times worked out it's a piece of cake. During the work week I get it prepped by filling the water, replacing the coffee filter (I take a paper towel and absorb any excess water in the filter basket) and put my coffee in a new filter. Hit the button twice and it's ready to go in the morning.

Like I said it's not as convenient, but the taste is much better and in the long run you're saving money, and the environment

the bolded is the stuff i appreciate about you

i was just at the supermarket and was looking at the coffee and saw your brand on the very bottom shelf. Will I be guaranteed to like this method of coffee better than the K-Cups in terms of taste? I have concerns.

edit: our schedules in the morning are about 2 hours different...will the pot remain warm during that time?

Even if you got like Folgers or Maxwells in the cans I think it's better than the k-cups in terms of taste.

The coffee maker will keep the warmer plate on for two hours after it starts brewing. So it should still be hot/warm by the time the other person goes to get a cup.

I also have a coffee bean grinder that I could grind the beans right before I put the grounds in the filter basket but I have not yet incorporated that into my routine yet and probs never will.

And it's perfect for when kids are around. I typically brew like 6-8 cups on the weekend and pour a cup but then usually get distracted with s3tp playing trains or s4tp poopting his pants every 15 minutes so by the time I go back to my cup it's lukewarm so I just go back to the coffee maker and top it off with fresh delicious hot coffee and it's the perfect temperature to drink right away.

oh ffs. buy a bag of whole beans. grind those (frank)ers up and put them in a storage container. yes, not as delish as freshly ground but still superior to pre-ground. takes about 5 minutes and you are ready to go for fresh, hot, tasty (frank)ing coffee every morning. lbh, you deserve this to start your day.

as if mornings aren't already impossible enough for me now i have to fight coffee.

i still walk right up to the coffee island every morning before realizing. if i could choose one island to be stranded on forever i would choose the coffee island. the coffee island is where i belong.

then i grab an orange juice, which is nice and all. but it's no cup of coffee.

Finally had this one today. I wanted to give it a few days after Ultra Sunrise since it's not fair to compare any non-sugar drink to the GOAT. It's not bad at all doe. Smoother than I thought it would be. It will join Sunrise and be added to the rotation.

I will be purchasing a couple of new drinks later today. Hopefully I can find the ones recommended by my boys, S2TP and Kick.

More to come.
