i'll tell you what though. i learned something.

the gap between rockstar recovery orange and monster khaos turned out to be more of a chasm.

i still enjoyed this but it's no jack kennedy.

ran to 7 eleven and came up with this.

it's not bad. kind of exactly what you're expecting. no more, no less. but i'd probs buy it again.

did i feel like a broad ordering it? yeah.

so every year or so i go back through the ultras to see what's up. and since we had a recent groundswell of interest in the ultras i figured why not now. i actually bought these* yesterday but i kept it a big secret from you guys. i'm so great at secrets!



ultra red is a tough taste to figure out but i read that it's cranberry and that kind of makes sense.

it might not be for 10 am.

in any event, it's an okay taste with a little bit more of that funky taste than i remember but still it's masked well enough that it's drinkable.

it's not the energy drink taste, it's that other funky taste that these ultras seem to have.

also, it's definitely a killer looking can. that goes a long way.

i guess the bumholes discontinued this before i ever got to see it, much less try it.

once again, in an effort to at least look like a man i got another hot chocolate hoping people would think it's a coffee.



if you thought caramel was ladylike, this is mint. i don't even really like mint chocolate stuff unless i'm really in the mood for it but this is very well done.

still pretty girly though.
