If you recall I did extensive reviews on all the flavors of these diet cokes. The feisty cherry was episode 4 of a 4 part documentary. There's nothing feisty about it, just tastes like cherry coke zero.

I didn't detect any spice. If anything, it had a slightly different cherry taste than the normal cherry cokes, like a black cherry flavour

After a groundswell of interest I decided to pick up this flavor as well as the blueberry one, both new flavors from Diet Coke. So Episode 1 of Part 2 of the Diet Coke reviews brings us to Strawberry Guava. It has a very sweet smell like a juice kind of smell. The taste matches the smell as this is a very sweet tasting drink. Don't get a huge taste of the classic diet coke. It's masked under the overbearing sweet taste of strawberry and I guess guava.

okay. i've been to the vending machine.



my diet pepsi got stuck in the little feeder arm thingy. i tried ordering another to push it though but the whole machine was crippled by this. i walked away dejected, thirsty, and with my hopes and dreams of a diet pepsi challenge crushed. d'oh! stupid machine!

i did some work and then went back to see if anybody had dislodged the diet pepsi. but alas, they had not. after a few seconds i tried reaching in through the scary hole, figuring i'm pulling back a bloody stump. but indeed, i reached the diet pepsi and the machine went back to normal and i ordered up this diet coke. the diet pepsi is now in the fridge because it sat in that in-between area where it wasn't 100% refrigerated. you could say it's just chilling.

but starting with the diet coke i can tell you that the diet soda taste is as extreme as i remember it and i feel like it would take very real dedication for me to get hooked on these like gramos is. the only way i'd want this with my meals would be if there was nothing else cold to drink. major props to gramos for surviving the break in period.

it probably wouldn't be so bad if the taste would just stop. but there's an aftertaste of about 2 days here. do you have to let it linger (do you have to, do you have to) do you have to let it linger?

anyway, i doubt i'll finish either of these but you know how far i'll go for my loyal readers.
