Far higher quality, much better selection, cheaper, and less wasteful.

Only drawback is convenience. Because you need to clean out a filter. Though you also get to use a jaws-inspired tea steeper... which alone is worth the extra work.

Will do. I live right beside the Maple Leaf Gardens Loblaws, they've got a loose leaf shop in there, comes in paper ziploc bags.

i've noticed that place when i've been in there but never bothered to check what they have. a friend of mine buys from them though. the lcbo upstairs there is pretty small but decent for beer too.

Not the best selection up there.

The grill on the main floor makes some damned good burgers and has a pretty damn good steak frites for $12. Striploin.

Good pastry and deli selection too.

maybe not the best selection of beer vs summerhill or similar but have you seen the beer wasteland that is the average toronto lcbo? you're lucky if you can find any seasonal or special release outside the downtown core and a few flagships outside that area (laird lcbo and coxwell lcbo for example)
