press the lever. h2o goes from the tank to the bowl. whatever's in the bowl goes down the drain with that h2o. new h2o from the cold h2o pipe refills the tank until the float goes up to the cutoff. repeat if necessary.

that's the word i'd use. i feel bamboozled. and fooled. lied to. a little bit hurt. i guess there are these other words too.

i read all about it and i read expert user reviews just like this one (well, not like this one. nobody does expert user reviews like my expert user reviews).

this was supposed to be light and refreshing with a natural tartness. i like tart. i love tart. but this is more like sour. and sour like expired. i went back to the fridge to check the date on these because i really thought it might have just gone bad.

i can't even drink these. i'm going to have to dump the rest. this is what i imagine bug spray tastes like.

even grosser was that about the same time, I also got this hard seltzer on Publix BOGO called Vibby or something. Looked good from the labeling with the creative combo of fruity flavors, but I should have looked at the ingredients more closely. turns out it was sweetened with stevia, way down there in the small print ingredients listing. it might be one of the last ingredients in the list, and therefore the least amount, but that nasty aftertaste stayed on my tongue like anything else with stevia in it, regardless that it had more alcohol.

the fact that there is such a so-called sweetener derived from a natural plant means that god is just as wrathfull as s/he is supposedly loving.

the smell is so powerful. straight up cherry clan candy. you remember it.

anyway, it's still just bubbly water so it wasn't going to taste like candy but this is one of the better sparkling waters i've tried in the last handful of days. just like any other sparkling water it really tastes like nothing but somehow hypnotizes you into thinking you sense a bit of an echo of a shadow of a whisper of a flavor. vaguely. maybe.

but at least this one is an echo of a shadow of a whisper of a flavor i like. and it doesn't taste mineral-y and weird.

look, i'm obviously chasing the dragon of cheap carbonation lately. i went slumming and came up with this from walmart.



i had immediate concern when it didn't really pop and fizz as expected when i opened it. it was just a small, quick burst and then it was over. very short.

the smell was reminiscent of those bottle caps candies and the monroe township public library (the old one). these are the only 2 things that came to my mind.

now there's a lot of taste here. tons, in fact. tons of syrupy, chemically aspartame. there may be some failed attempt at fruit loops in the taste, but no skittles and how dare these rednecks besmirch the good name of skittles with this toilet water anyway.

by the 4th progressively difficult sip this was herbal essences shampoo, at best. it's hard for me to believe that anybody can drink this.

i had to dump it.

the smell is faint but it's like watermelon flavored pop rocks.

this is fine, i guess. it's no bubly but i think it's drinkable. this may not be the best flavor to start with but i also tried a blueberry lemonade flavor and it didn't really stand out either.

there's more of the minerally taste with these too.

i've opened 3 of these and haven't finished any of them before they were too warm to drink.

it just sounded like a good flavor. it wasn't.

this was more drinkable than the skittles one but still not actually drinkable. it also got dumped. on top of the overall nastiness, this one coats your mouth and lips with syrupy hell. sparkling water isn't supposed to be like that. what is even in these bottles?

a glass of mr.peanut's room temperature water is a better source of hydration than this.

Spring is in the air! The birds are chirping and the pollen is (frank)ing my sinuses with glee. As I strolled through Target I came across this beautiful purple can of Red Bull. I don’t normally get the sugarfree varieties, but I’m a lush for grapefruit. At first sip, you get a tantalizing and robust flavor of grapefruit juice and then just before you expect to get the tartness, the flowery blossom flavor scooches itself in and mellows out the finish. A true complimentary pair of flavors.
