obviously my hot tea acumen is pretty advanced at this stage, but i do have a question about cold tea


like if i want to brew a mug of cold tea, do i have to boil the water, steep the tea and then let it cool? or can I just steep the tea in cold water?

now, do you want your tea to taste like the tea you're used to? then boil the water and make the tea and then chill it.

technically, you can cold steep tea, although i never have. apparently it tastes different (and possibly better) but i think you need certain tools to do this and i think people do it with loose tea leaves, not tea bags although i'm not sure about that part.
