Ya it's probably the best. Alien to me is as good but it's more of a horror movie I feel.The best horror movie ever made imo.

The 1st is horror at its finest. Really well shot and the pacing is top tier

2nd is an over the top action flick, good if you like that sort of thing

3rd is.. weird. atmospheric and entertaining if you watch the director's cut but still kind of meh

I always liked Alien but it wasn't until I rewatched it maybe 4 years ago when I bought the Anthology that I realized how (frank)ing good it was. Everything about it is perfect.
