it's melon



it's strange, i'm not a huge fan of melons. like, i doubt i'll ever actually buy a honeydew or a cantaloupe. i probably only know what they even taste like from my father bringing them home when i was a kid. but somehow lately i've found myself a fan of melon flavored things. so i was excited when i saw this (i went to a different wawa to see how the selection differs - more to come™) and figured i'd try it out.

well, first thing i'm gonna say is that you have to like melon. i think what they're going for is mostly honeydew with a little bit of cantaloupe.

it's pretty good and i'd definitely buy it again.

i'll probably stick with the zero flavors when summer comes and i'm really slamming these things but if i was willing to be a great big fat person this would definitely be in the roly poly rotation.

You have to go to Taco Bell. They used to sell it at grocery stores for a short time but I believe it's back to only being sold at Taco Bell

pretty sure you guys know about my infatuation with mango.



right off the bat i found this somehow both pleasing and disappointing at the same time and i almost cried.

i was ready to sort of complain that there's a nice mango taste as soon as it hits your tongue but god damn if it doesn't just shut right off after literally a tenth of a second. as soon as you take a swig and swallow it was like you never took a swig at all.

luckily after a few sips and only like 2 or 3 minutes i realized that it was just too cold. after it wasn't back-of-the-fridge icy it ended up being quite delightful.

again, this is the full on sugary model and i shan't be drinking it on the reg, but if i were going to go with a non-zero powerade lifestyle this wouldn't just be in the rotation, it would be my main go-to.

once it warms up a little bit it lingers longer and not with some bad aftertaste. the taste of the mango is what lingers and it's very nice indeed.

grade a powerade here.
