do you gets palps after drinking multiple of these things?
- -davies-

i didn't today. i don't usually drink them that close together. if you drank 2 right in a row i bet there'd be palps.

i never get like a rush of energy from these things though like people describe. they seem like prime palp people.

i did it. i sprung for one of these because cash couldn't really come between me and my loyal readership.

you know what? this stuff is pretty good. everyone knows that i'm a cream and sugar guy when it comes to my actual coffee so of course you have to adjust what's going on in your head to more of an "okay, what does good black AF coffee taste like" and compare it from there. but it stands up for sure. i immediately wished i'd gotten the espresso coffee flavor instead of the vanilla coffee flavor because it was dumb to pick any kind of flavored one for a first try and also because the vanilla ended up being kind of weird (kind of gave it a peanut buttery taste somehow). but i pushed that aside and tried to just taste the coffee.

(also the chameleon looks way cooler on the vanilla label)

Beer thread is gone. Someone please resurrect.

I recently discovered there is a brewery a 2 minute drive from my home, and I have drank more of their beer than tap water ever since. (frank)ing delicious stuff.

For those in the GTA(Daeth), look for Falcon at the beer store.

a kombucha drink

some kinda hippie health drink. i think it's supposed to calm your stomach. so i'm basically a pharmacist now. i'm reviewing medicine.

the first thing i can tell you is that it's in a really nice glass, jar-like bottle. thick, sturdy, dark brown glass. like the label a lot. real nice presentation on this one.

this was in that same case with those crazy coffee drinks and also cost about 1.5 million dollars.

one thing i was not expecting was for this thing to be carbonated. reading 75% of the label somehow led me to believe this was a tea-based beverage with tart cherry added. but in the fine print it said "lightly carbonated" and "swirl gently".

so i got used to that after the first few sips where it was still kind of startling. it felt kind of thick, like it would be syrupy. but i don't think it really was. i think that was just the fizzyness (frank)ing with me somehow.

so i'm drinking kombucha tea culture, brewed fizzy somehow, with cherry added. i convince myself this means i'm drinking bacteria and will die. and then i calm back down. and this process cycles back and forth a few times in my fragile mind until all of a sudden i realize that i kind of like the taste of this bacteria i'm drinking while all of this is going on. it's weird at first. really weird. but you get used to it very quickly and i enjoyed the fizz and the cherry taste and all.

i can't vouch for any other flavors (i saw another heinous ginger flavor was on offer), but this thing is alright by me.

in closing i'd like to add that, through the magic of tabbed browsing, i've been reading up on this stuff as i've been writing this expert user review and there are apparently no proven health advantages to kombucha and in fact there are some rare side effects and have even been some reported deaths. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
