just as i suspected, this is a terrible terrible idea.

i did this for you. i'm not sorry i did this for you but i'm sorry i did this.

when you take the first sip it's super sweet cola right off the bat. like rc cola x50. but almost immediately the ginger taste comes and ruins everything in a violent destructive manner. it's uncalled for. this is uncalled for.

absolutely unnecessary.

the ingredients are: tart cherry juice (not from concentrate), apple juice (apple juice concentrate, water)

that's it.

200 cherries in every bottle!

apparently, cherries are all kinds of good for your health. they list some of the good health poop on the bottle and then point you to their website to read about even more advantages to cherry juice.

the 200 cherries in your bottle are grown in the usa, this is 100% juice, it's not from concentrate, non-gmo, gluten free, and has no preservatives.

it does have 28 grams of sugar and 32 grams of carbs per 8 ounce serving. so there's that.

anyway, it was weird. as you would expect it's not thin like water. so you have to get used to that. it does taste just like cherries (as i suppose it should). somehow you miss the skin of the fruit that you otherwise don't even think about. but other than that it's like a mouthful of cherries.

even though i love cherry things i wasn't sure about this. but next thing i knew the 32 ounce bottle was empty so..

did i like it? yes. would i buy it again? not really. i only bought it because i saw something weird and thought of you people. but if there was a glass of it in front of me i'd drink it for sure. i just drank it from the bottle but i think a glass of this with ice would be great. like in the morning or whatever.

i'll be honest, this is another drink i bought just out of love for my loyal readers. i love cherry things and i love lemonade but when you put them together it's rarely been enjoyable to me. admittedly, you usually get cherry with lime but same basic thing i guess and all i usually ever get from that is heartburn.

all of that being written, this wasn't bad or anything. it was definitely better than the blue tropical one or whatever that was. i wouldn't buy it again because it's not a flavor i enjoy but if you like this sort of thing i guarantee you'll like this. it's very flavorful and i still haven't found one of these with an offensive sucralose taste.

also, as far as these clear american ice drinks go i have been mired in an internal struggle over whether the blackberry or the mango is my favorite.

it's hard to admit due to my love of mango but i think the blackberry is the best. it just bursts with flavor. i will do a pepsi challenge type situation tonight and make my final decision. so buckle your seat belts and stay tuned for that (frank)ing excitement. more to come..

anyway, that wins. it's sweet like the syrup you make soda with but it's sparkling water with no sugar.

mango is definitely #2. also very sweet.
