Tastes like the original monster with a splash of orange and tropically (pineapple) flavoring. It's not bad. Definitely would say the pipeline punch is better.

i'm a pineapple mark but i do agree that i think i remember the pipeline punch being better. but i'm just not sure because i feel like the pipeline punch may have been one of those flavors that had that little something that i wasn't sure about.

i will have to do a pepsi challenge between the two.

we've all done that before

interestingly enough when you spill coffee on a keyboard nobody in the future will believe you when you explain why the keys are sticky

against my better judgement i picked one of these up, knowing that i'd hate it, but once again willing to do this for you, my loyal readers.

because america is so hot right now

mountain dew "dew.s.a." 3 flavors collide! code red, white out, and voltage.

look at how (frank)ing american that whole (frank)ing scene is up there. christ (frank)ing sake. just add a hunting rifle and a tin of skoal. (frank) me.

now the majority of our expert user reviews on the myriad of mountain dew flavors have some back repulsive. i feel like the original flavor may just be their only good flavor. baja blast being the habsolute worst (you mother (frank)er). so i challenged myself to finish this before i even opened it, knowing deep down inside that this would most likely be like drinking industrial floor cleaning chemicals.

i'm not going to sit here and tell you that this is good but i can say that i was pleasantly surprised, which i admit probably wasn't the biggest feat considering how that last paragraph ended. each flavor seems to cut the others enough that this is somehow less offensive than any of the three on their own.

for instance, iirc, the major problem with code red was robitussin. i don't have a sore throat right now and even if i did nobody wants 12 or 20 american ounces of (frank)ing robitussin. here, the other 2 flavors get to involve themselves so there isn't so much heartburn-inducing cough syrup taste.

it turns out to be some sort of berry-like taste when you mix this all together.

bottom line is that i won't run out and buy this again but i also won't have trouble finishing the bottle.
