now look, i have a wawa gimmick. i love it and i consume their offerings in incredibly unhealthy quantities, and when crims rips it i jump to its defense like a rabid ninja with roid rage (a real ninja not a fucking red one).

but i also understand that with great expert user reviews comes great responsibility.

so it is with a heavy heart (fuckin bacon) that i report this double mocha cappuccino an abject failure.

i always shied away since i noticed this one looks like motor oil in the bottle compared to the others. it hasn't always looked like this and i may have even reviewed it in its previous incarnation. but this motor oil one is not good.

it's not undrinkable, but i didn't finish it. it just wasn't enjoyable and would have been a chore to finish. instead, i decided my day wouldn't start that way so i put it in my cup holder and forged ahead, determined to make march 18, 2018 better.

because that's the kind of guy i am.

now that last review kind of ended with a bitterness. a sadness. like the empire strikes back. sure things turned out alright but let's face it: han solo is frozen and the movie just ended that way. like wtf?

but if you're sad for me, don't be sad for me!

because whatever the (frank) this is was pretty good.

i was shook, you know? i was willing to turn to anything to kill the pain of wawa double mocha cappuccino. but this rebound one-night-stand worked out beautifully. you took a no-name, plain-jane home and she turned out to be top notch in the bedroom.

i'd have to look at the picture to tell you what this was even called or what the brand was because i never heard of it before and i'll probably never see it again. i just enjoyed it and threw it in the plastic bag i classily hung on my gear shifter (code) for trash.

so it's pretty much exactly how god intended the rebound one-night-stand to go.

it was nice and chocolatey. not sure what they're selling it as but it was almost the consistency of a milkshake.

so don't fret. they just unfroze han solo. (i'm sorry you have to watch the ewok stuff now)

sometimes you see a 6-pack of something and you're pissed that you have to buy a 6-pack of it to try it. but other times you just pick the 6-pack up and put it in your cart without even thinking.

this is an example of that second scenario there.

i mean, look at it.

these juice people have been giving "forbidden fruit" a whole new meaning when it comes to interracial relationships. they've been mixing fruits all willy nilly and i like it.

anyway, you're all fully aware that i'm a total mark for cranberry and that i'm pretty much the target market for pineapple. so this was a no brainer, obviously. which is lucky for me if you think about it.

so i'll start with the only complaint. the 2 tastes are definitely there, but they're both slightly muted somehow. just a little. i'd say they cancel each other out, but i'd kind of expect these two flavors to almost intensify each other so i don't think that's it.

that said, this poop is still delicious. you can definitely taste both flavors, they just don't pop like they would in a perfect world. like, the intensity of the cranberry tartness, you dig? i'd like a little bit more pineapple but i won't lodge it as a formal complaint because you could wake me in the middle of the night and i might look at you and say "i'd like a little bit more pineapple." and let's face it, addicts always want everything stonger.

but again, nothing really holds it back nearly enough to stop it or even slow it down. this combination of flavors is just an unstoppable force. a juggernaut.

so this is a success and i'll be hard-pressed to find the willpower to not drink at least 4 of these today.

not sure if i mentioned this but i had the new special tarzan coffee at wawa and i liked it much more than s2 did.

but i'm more of a mellow coffee guy than he is. i can see how someone who wants, or is expecting, a powerful cup might be disappointed by it.

i have to admit though none of their flavors are better than their plain old regular to me. i really like their regular and wish i could still drink more than 10 ounces of it per week.

I think if it they had it in their usual coffee pot and just called it Tanzanian and not have it labeled as "Reserve" I wouldn't be so critical of it. It is a good cup of coffee, I think I was just expecting something along the lines of Starbuck's Reserve.

so i'm risking my life for this but you're looking at what happens when an already weak man walks into a wawa on a (frank)ing monday, which only beats you down even further. it makes you grow even more powerless against the

vanilla cappuccino with the extra espresso.

unfortch, this reward may not have been worth the risk. this was my first ever time hitting the vanilla button and this isn't really that good.

if i ruin these jeans over this vanilla cappuccino with the extra espresso i'm gonna be pretty pissed (and shitted) over this missed opportunity (as well as missing these jeans, they were like a hundred dollars).

I bought this last night

It's delicious in a glass with ice.

Even more delicious with some tequila in it.

It loses some points for not representing the mint well enough on the label. If I didn't know how to read I'd think it's just cucumber lime.
