the great news is that monster pacific punch is almost an exact replica of rockstar punched. the (frank)ers stole, but that's okay because it just means if a store is out of/doesn't carry rockstar punched there's still a chance they may have this. so i can still get my fix.

if there's any difference at all, this one might taste a little bit more like hawaiian punch than rockstar punched does. but either one is a really really good imitation of fruit punch.

as a matter of fact, if i have to have the full fatty version, i'd choose this one. but as you all know i mostly henjoy the rockstar zero punched anyway so i'll be sticking with that as my main jawn.

there's a real good chance this is monster's best ever carbonated energy drink.

khaos is probably still my personal number one monster because i'm more into those flavors than i am into fruit punch, but i can't say with 100% certainty that if i sat and tried them side-by-side i may not change my mind.

i don't know if monster will ever reestablish its one-time dominance in the perpetual energy drink wars in my head, but this definitely helps close the gap at least a little bit between it and the current world champion, rockstar who offer the delicious recovery juices and zero punched.
