Ok I was going to say to get a baseline taste with Monster, try the regular green one, then the lo-carb, then the absolute zero. Then try the ultra varieties so you can pick out the different flavors and you already can detect the baseline monster taste.

i confirmed this today with a plain old latte from wawa. it's got practically no coffeeish taste to it at all compared to the dunkin plain latte. it's basically a $3.00 headache forcefield.

but it's just a cola. it's distributed by 7 eleven themselves so maybe their little deal with the jones soda company ran out. i'm not going to finish it because it's full fatty but i saw it and of course i thought of you guys right away.

it's more like coke than pepsi i'd say because it's a little more syrupy than not. RC cola pops into my head but it's been years so i can't be sure.

it's got a strange finish. the taste just drops off and is gone. you can lick your lips and taste the sweetness but the actual taste and aftertaste you're used to from a sip of soda only lasts about 2/3 the time you're used to.
