interesting. i went to see the ghost ship tonight. a few blocks away was an artsy fartsy type setup where i had a nice gin drink and a nice whisky drink.

also, never drink a slushie of sorts with smirnoff. we're adults now. no more smirnoff.

so the winter of pinot noir continues with this meiomi, which technically may be cheating because it cost a little more than the internet led me to believe so it was closer to $20 than $15.



it's pretty consistently at or near the top on the "under $20" or "budget pinot noirs" lists i found while planning this fiasco.

while it was pretty good, it wasn't mindblowing, which is kind of what i was expecting. it lacks some kind of punch and was a little too thin or something.

it's good but it's not the best we've tried so far.



we also bought a wild card $12 bottle that was so unmemorable that i literally can't remember the name to tell it to you.
