I haven't been on a set schedule in 5 years, but i have been for a couple of weeks now. Before I used to just wake up from either no longer being tired, my phone ringing for work or usually some random family noise bullpoop.

I've been getting 7-8 uninterrupted hours sleep for a nice stretch, it's glorious.

I buy good coffee, but the coffee maker is mediocre. At least it doesn't have a glass carafe where if it sits for half an hour the element starts to burn it.

well, daeth, you're gonna hate me, but hear me out. beefeater just knocked bombay sapphire down to second place.

i think i mentioned before that what i'm seeking in my gin is similar to what i'm seeking in my IPAs, a punch in the mouth. i like that slap in the tongue that you get from hops and that you get from juniper. masochist? maybe, but that's what i like. i actually don't want my gin to be smooth.

anyway, bombay sapphire, while i still love it, is obviously more floral and/or herbal than beefeater. it's awesome for what it is, but i prioritize the juniper.

so yeah, my number one is a $23 gin now. who knew?
