in the fall into winter, my idiot father used to store a case of beer in our little side porch thingy and it was always stroh's or busch or something awful.

we were so deprived when it came to beers. stroh's was a huge step up from the swill that was old milwaukee, schlitz, hamm's or PBR. the big beer locally was old style. the smell of which still gives me dry heaves. its tag line was it's "fully krausened". Which I am pretty sure meant that it was collected from the big cat exhibit at the zoo.
