i did get something of value to me personally out of the trip though. the liquor store that has 3 howls is in cherry hill, in a bunch of shops that also has a guitar center. so i went in there and looked at guitars for a while and that was pretty great. i saw all kinds of things i've never seen in person from a $400 used gretsch sparkle jet (red) to like an old 60's rickenbacker pointy thing that was thousands and thousands of dollars.

i don't know a ton about bass guitars but some of those were pretty cool looking too.

oh yes, the hendricks. someday i'll have to give it a go with just tonic.

i had it in a cucumber collins and it just ruined it for me. i didn't even finish it. the bartender seemed like a rookie so maybe i just got a drink that was 70% cucumber syrup (it was unnecessarily green).

I definitely recommend trying it on the rocks or just mixed with tonic, since it already has a cucumber-ish vibe

everyone raves about it so i know that even if i turn out not to like it it doesn't mean it's a bad gin.

i wonder if it's just a bad mix for me.

like everyone raves about these spicy blood orange margaritas at these 2 mexican places that we go to but i just can't mix like jalapeno or spicy red pepper taste with my alcohol, i don't know why.

i wonder if it's just a bad mix for me.

like everyone raves about these spicy blood orange margaritas at these 2 mexican places that we go to but i just can't mix like jalapeno or spicy red pepper taste with my alcohol, i don't know why.

Red Bull Summer Edition - Watermelon

After a disappointing search for the two new monster flavors I stumbled upon this one in a walmarts and had to get it. It smells of jolly rancher watermelon so you know it’s going to suck. First sip you get the sour/sweet combo you get from watermelon flavored candy, almost like those sour gummy ones. Then you get the Red Bull flavor and it actually pairs pretty well with the watermelon flavor. It’s not my favorite, but I like it better than that god awful summer edition, breeze.
