Seent these jawns at the walmarts so I had to reach up and grab one. It is an interesting beverage. The flavor is very nice, classic superior coke taste combined with a subtle black coffee. What I get hung up on is the texture and mouth feel. It reminds me of drinking a flat diet coke. I can get past it mostly but each sip feels odd which is sad because the flavor combination is quite exquisite.

You know I had to get this when I seent it the twitters. I scoured my local sheetz and walmarts for days but to no avail. I then stumbled into wegmans for some breakfast this morning and decided to check the mini fridges they have at the checkout lanes. Nothing! Something spoke to me though and told me to check the aisles where they keep the warm energy drinks. I think it was Satan. Any who, I checked and lo and behold, a 4-pack of Ultra gold right at eye level on the bottom shelf! I scooped it up and put one of these bad boys in the fridge at work. I cracked it open at lunch and the smell of pineapple filled the air. I took a sip and the sweet taste of monster absolute zero floods my memory and then I get a new breath of fresh air in the pineapple as it hits my taste buds. It doesn't punch my buds but more like a gentle kiss on the cheeks with the pineapple flavor. I could use more of it IMHO. French kiss my buds pineapple, slap em around. Overall, this ranks high in the Ultra family of Monster beverages. Top 3 perhaps?
